Terms & Conditions

Turkish House Experience LLC (“THE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website turkishhouseexperience.org (the “Site”) and produces house-music events under the Turkish House Experience name (the “Events”). By using the Site or attending an Event you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or attend our Events.

1. Tickets and third-party sellers

Tickets and table reservations are sold through third-party platforms linked from the Site (for example Eventbrite, Posh, Instagram or a venue’s own system). Your purchase is subject to that platform’s terms and fees in addition to these Terms. We do not process payments on the Site and do not store your payment details. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice until a purchase is completed.

2. Refunds, cancellations and changes

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law or where the selling platform states otherwise. If an Event is cancelled by us and not rescheduled, you will be offered a refund of the ticket face value through the platform you purchased from; service fees may not be refundable. Line-ups, venues, set times and start/end times may change; a change of artist or venue does not entitle you to a refund. Events are held rain or shine unless we announce otherwise.

3. Age and admission

Our Events are for adults only. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry and for the purchase of alcohol. The minimum age for a given Event is set by the venue and local law and is stated on the Event listing. Admission is at the sole discretion of THE and the venue. We may refuse entry or remove any person without refund for intoxication, aggressive or unsafe behaviour, harassment or discrimination of any kind, breach of the venue’s rules, or possession of prohibited items. Dress codes announced for an Event are enforced at the door.

4. Assumption of risk and release

Events involve loud music, flashing and strobe lighting, fog effects, crowds and, at some venues, rooftops, stairs and outdoor areas. You attend voluntarily and at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law you release Turkish House Experience LLC, its members, managers, employees, contractors, DJs, partners and the venue from any claim for personal injury, illness, loss of or damage to property, or other loss arising out of your attendance, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

5. Photography, video and recording consent

Our Events are photographed and filmed. By entering an Event you consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded, and you grant Turkish House Experience LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your image, likeness and voice in that material for promotion of THE on our Site, social media, press and advertising, without compensation or further notice. If you do not wish to appear in promotional material, please tell a member of our team at the Event or email us afterwards and we will make reasonable efforts to remove identifiable images.

6. Conduct

We are committed to a safe and welcoming dance floor. Harassment, hate speech, unwanted physical contact, drug use and any illegal activity are not tolerated and will result in removal without refund and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. Professional photography or recording equipment, weapons, outside food and drink and illegal substances are prohibited unless authorised in writing.

7. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any part of the Site or its content — including the Turkish House Experience name, logo, artwork, flyers, photographs and video — without our prior written permission. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Intellectual property

The Turkish House Experience name, the “THE” mark, our logo and all artwork, text, photography, video and design on the Site are owned by or licensed to Turkish House Experience LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The Site and the Events are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any Event will take place as described. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turkish House Experience LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Site or attendance at an Event. Our total liability for any claim relating to an Event is limited to the face value of the ticket you purchased for that Event.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Turkish House Experience LLC and the venue from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your conduct at an Event.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Site or attendance at an Event after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
